On October 23, 2008, Coreslab Structures (OKLA) Inc. received the "2008 Excellence in Construction" for ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors of Oklahoma) as the "Best of the Best" in the specialty construction class.

This award was presented to Coreslab Structures (OKLA) Inc. for the Oklahoma Medical Research parking structure; a four story parking garage, designed to permit entrance/exits at level one on the east elevation, as well as the level two on the south side.

Coreslab met the challenge and successfully designed the parking structure to blend with the twenty year old architecture at the existing campus and provide an extremely open and security conscious structure with the use of large open window shear walls that help restrain the structure.
