Dolphin Stadium (Miami)

For the second time in our history, Coreslab has been asked to step forward and assist in preparing an existing stadium to host a Super Bowl. In 1996 Coreslab Structures (LA) Inc. speed tracked the construction of Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. In 2006 Coreslab Structures (Miami) Inc. assisted Stiles Construction in preparing Dolphin Stadium for the 2007 Super Bowl.

The schedule was so difficult that the project was in jeopardy. Coreslab Structures (Miami) Inc. had no available storage space. This problem was quickly solved by dedicating a portion of the on grade stadium parking for precast storage. This meant that the precast had to be live loaded directly from the casting beds to the trucks and off loaded at the stadium storage site.

With all the product stored on site the Erector was able to control the speed and efficiency of the installation. This allowed the precast to be produced and erected ahead of schedule resulting in another satisfied client of Coreslab.
