We thank the City of Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton for attending our open house and sharing a few words of encouragement for the recovery of the Phoenix economy as well as congratulating Coreslab Structures for successfully “weathering the economic downturn”. Coreslab Structures (ARIZ) Inc. hosted 156 guests, comprised of contractors, architects, engineers, ASU students and vendors.
Many activities were on the agenda; we poured a double tee, and a wall panel, as well as gave demonstrations on self-consolidating concrete, sandblasting finishes, power trowel finish, double tee load test, and bar bending.
Vulcan Materials kindly provided and cooked the food, brats and burgers. The food was excellent and enjoyed by all! Thanks Vulcan Materials!!
Door prizes were awarded including precast clocks and sculptures made by our own Greg Walker and Phil Richardson.
On display, were our newly renovated lobby and conference room. Precast concrete tables, counter tops, made in our plant, and a steel cutout sign were the stars.
A big thanks to our Leadership Committee for all the hard work in putting this open house together and making it such a great success!
Special thanks to our Production Department, who went above and beyond to finish the lobby renovations, clean the yard, make the stands for the posters, set up the demonstrations and welcome all our guests.
What an awesome group of guys!
