Coreslab Missouri, in association with the PCI Central Region, hosted a plant tour on June 9, 2016 where 46 architects, engineers, and key contractors from Kansas City and St. Louis attended.
View of Plant
The tour provided attendees the opportunity to walk through and see up close all of the plant’s production facilities– structural and architectural casting beds, finishing, steel shop, storage, loading, batch plants, and quality control. Attendees were able to see how their structures are produced, observe the quality control steps, and interact with plant management.

At the conclusion of the tour, a BBQ lunch was provided with a question and answer time with plant representatives. For the attending design and construction professionals, the plant tour helped raise the bar as to what can be achieved in structural and architectural precast concrete.
Coreslab Missouri increased awareness of Precast/Prestressed Concrete in the market for this event through postcards, emails, and personal contacts with over 1,200 Construction Industry Professionals within its service area.
Each attendee earned 3.0 continuing education credits through the PCI Central Region’s AIA/CES programming.
