Our commitment to quality, precision, and efficiency resulted in the successful completion of this project, allowing the hotel to open its doors in 2019. Situated on Carl Jones Road, this contemporary hotel boasts a range of amenities, including a fitness center, business center, and pool.
The hotel’s modern design marries functionality and style, providing guests with a comfortable and peaceful stay thanks to its soundproofing and climate control technology. With its convenient location and innovative design, the Holiday Inn Express is sure to exceed expectations.
Coreslab Structures, Inc. supplied precast concrete products and services for the project, including architectural and structural components such as beams, columns, shear walls, and stairs, as well as custom precast elements.
The project included the design and installation of 54,525 square feet of 8″ hollow core planking. All components were provided and erected to the highest standards of technical excellence in just 35 days.

The Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Moody, Alabama (Leeds) was completed in 2019 with the help of precast concrete wall panels. Thanks to the insulated form liner, the team was able to quickly achieve a realistic stone appearance finish, allowing them to accelerate the project delivery. This ensured that guests to the hotel could enjoy their stay in a comfortable and attractive environment.
The precast concrete producer worked in close collaboration with the design team to ensure that the precast concrete elements were delivered in a timely, sequential manner, helping the team to avoid the usual problems associated with cast-in-place construction.
The design team masterfully coordinated the installation of 292 insulated wall panels, 60 non-load bearing wall panels, 20 columns, 5 structural beams, 6 girder wall beams, and 24 stairs and landings.
This seamless integration of precast concrete into the design was a testament to the team’s dedication to excellence.
